WARM SPRINGS, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In response to overwhelming growth in the Commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems industry, Warm Springs Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) UAS Test Range, a member of the Pan Pacific Test Range Complex (PPUTRC), will train the next generation of career-oriented drone enthusiasts to enter the commercial services market.
The four-day drone pilot training course incorporates hands-on test preparation to become an official FAA Part 107 drone pilot. Attendees will receive top-quality ground instruction and in-person instruction and test for the FAA Part 107 license.

The training course includes:
- Part 107 Training - FAA certification for safe and legal operations
- Hands-on flight training – Fundamentals of piloting a drone
- UAS operational safety training - Elevated safety and operational performance skills
- Commercial enterprise course – Make money flying a drone
The course will be hosted at Warm Springs FAA UAS Test Range in Warm Springs, Oregon, January 11-15, 2018 and includes meals, training, certification and lodging at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Spa.
Cost to attend the course is $4,000 before Jan. 1, 2018, and $4,300 after Jan. 1.
