Small and medium-sized businesses in Ohio have three opportunities to expand their exporting through three trade missions scheduled for early 2019.
Each mission offers unique possibilities for businesses to begin exporting their products or to grow their global business. Space for each trade mission is limited, so companies are encouraged to register quickly.
The Ohio Development Services Agency is partnering with other organizations to host the trade missions.
The missions are:
Thailand-Vietnam from March 22-30: Target markets include, but are not limited to, industrial or electrical machinery and equipment, automotive parts and accessories, iron and steel products, optic and medical equipment, plastics products, chemicals, and hardwood lumber. The registration deadline is January 11, and the participation fee is $1,000. Other hosts include the Small Business Development Center at Youngstown State University, the Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Export Initiative and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

The registration deadline is January 22, and the participation fee is $1,500. Other hosts are the Small Business Development Center in Dayton and the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers.
Germany from April 1-10: Target markets include, but are not limited to, technology/med-tech, energy systems, innovative supply solutions, consulting, metalworking and instrumentation. The mission includes participation in the Hannover Messe. The mission will focus on first-time trade show attendees. The registration deadline is December 7, and the participation fee is $1,500.
