SAN FRANCISCO--Sight Machine Inc., the industry leader for manufacturing analytics, today announced it has named Syed Hoda as its chief marketing officer. Hoda has more than two decades of experience in bringing advanced technologies to market for both startups and industry giants.
Hoda most recently served as CMO of software-defined storage company Scality, and previously was CMO of ParStream, an Internet of Things (IoT) analytics company acquired by Cisco Systems Inc. Prior to ParStream, Hoda served as a senior executive at Cisco in a variety of management roles. He was general manager of Cisco’s Emerging Solutions Group, where he led the startup and scaling of new, disruptive businesses and was also instrumental in the launch of Cisco’s Globalization Center in Bangalore, India.

Hoda earned a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and undergraduate in Industrial Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
