BATON ROUGE, La.--The Shaw Group Inc. As previously announced, the approximately $500 million contract was included in Shaw's Power segment's backlog of unfilled orders in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011.
Shaw also supports Entergy with its nuclear power assets. Shaw subsidiaries have provided engineering or maintenance services to nuclear power plants owned or purchased by Entergy since 1973.
