Combining visible beam aiming and power delivery in a single fiber laser for CO2 and Er:YAG laser systems, the Polymicro Technologies MediSpec waveguide provides safer, easier and faster medical treatments. Designed for a wide range of laser power applications, MediSpec hollow silica waveguide fiber is available in 500, 750 and 1000 m inner diameters with a wavelength range from 2.9 to 10.6 m. The Tefzel jacket material is biocompatible and can withstand sterilization for invasive medical procedures. Various terminations are available upon request, using SMA, ST and FC connectors.
