EVANSTON, Ill.--MNI, the nation’s oldest and largest compiler of manufacturing data, has announced the launch of its new industrial marketplace IndustryNet® (http://industrynet.com). IndustryNet, which helps buyers find industrial suppliers, now also provides suppliers with unique listing pages to better promote their products and services, and offers a spectrum of business resources, bringing together all aspects of industrial marketing, sourcing, prospecting, site selection, and research under one roof.
More than 420,000 suppliers selling products and services across the entire supply chain are currently listed on IndustryNet. Industrial buyers may set up a free account, create a list of potential suppliers from more than 10,000 product and service categories, request competitive quotes, upload specifications, and more.
For suppliers, the reimagined site grants each company a unique listing page, with the opportunity to upload cover art and company logos; social media, web, and email links; company videos, catalogues, photos, and more. A sample listing may be seen here: Each company listing is “people-powered”: researched, verified and kept up-to-date by MNI’s 80-person research team.
“Development of this new version of IndustryNet centered completely around the end user, meaning the industrial buyer who is using the site to locate qualified suppliers,” said Scott Kartsounes, MNI’s Chief Technology Officer. “To that end, we built a simple-to-use yet incredibly powerful user interface that allows buyers to zero-in on suppliers that can fit their exact specifications through the use of filters. In addition to searching by product or service and location, buyers can also now find suppliers by company type, ISO certifications, type of ownership, areas of distribution, and much more.”
The redesigned site will also offer the following resources:
- A news release section for businesses to post press releases.
- A trade show board, allowing users to post and search for upcoming trade shows.
- An expansion and relocation guide.
- A used machinery section for companies to buy or sell used parts/equipment.
- A job board, for users to post and review job openings.
