In response to the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) refusal to ask the Supreme Court to review the recent D.C. Circuit Court's decision in the posting requirement rule case, National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) President and CEO Jay Timmons issued a statement. By allowing the Supreme Court's January 2 review deadline to pass, the NLRB has acknowledged its overreach in the case, permanently validating the NAM's victory.
Manufacturers start off the new year with great news in our fight against an overreaching NLRB. This is the culmination of the NAM's aggressive legal pursuit against a government-imposed regulation that would create a hostile work environment while injecting politics into manufacturers' day-to-day business operations. While this victory is a watershed moment, the NAMthrough the Manufacturers' Center for Legal Actionwill continue to fight against the threat of overly aggressive agendas from government agencies.
