PASO ROBLES, Calif.--IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) authority, today announced that two IQMS executives will be speaking at Oracle OpenWorld 2016. IQMS CEO Gary Nemmers will discuss the company’s experiences as an Oracle independent software vendor (ISV), and IQMS CTO Dan Radunz will present a customer case study session on evaluating Oracle Cloud solutions. The conference runs September 18-22, 2016, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. IQMS CEO Gary Nemmers will participate in the OPN Central general session on Sunday, September 18, at Moscone West, Room 3008.
On September 21, IQMS will participate in a session called, “Evaluating Oracle Cloud PaaS and IaaS for Your Projects.” With the advent of Oracle’s cloud services for platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), ISVs now have a true enterprise cloud solution on which to deploy their mission-critical solutions and offer them to their end customers. In this session, IQMS CTO Dan Radunz guides chief technology officers and their teams through the process of evaluating prospective cloud vendors and their associated services, helping to navigate the myriad different considerations that must be evaluated to successfully choose a strategic cloud partner.
The session provides an unbiased approach on how to evaluate Oracle Cloud (PaaS and IaaS) in comparison to other vendors, and it provides guidance and advice on what criteria to consider before making a final choice. The session will be held 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, at Moscone South – Room 304.
