EVRY, France & AMES, Iowa--Global Bioenergies (Paris:ALGBE), an industrial biology company developing sustainable routes to light olefins, announced today that it has opened a branch facility in Ames, Iowa.
Global Bioenergies has expanded its global business operations into the US, opening a branch facility in Ames, Iowa. The new operation will focus on Global Bioenergies' program for bioconversion of renewable resources into isobutene and other light olefins. Dr. David GOGERTY, a specialist in industrial biology, will head the new US branch.
David GOGERTY says: I am excited that a publicly traded global company has recognized the value of the Iowa Corn Belt in its drive to produce biofuels and other valuable hydrocarbons from renewable resources.

We are delighted to add a US branch to the German branch we opened in 2010. The Iowa operation will advance our projects and those of our customers and partners in the US, France, Germany, Poland and, most recently, New Zealand.
