ROCK HILL, S.C.--Gabriel Performance Products (Gabriel), a market leader in epoxy additives and specialty chemical manufacturing, is proud to announce the opening of an Application Development Laboratory in Rock Hill, SC. The Application Lab will focus on supporting customers working on new developments with CAPCURE® and GABEPRO® mercaptans, Versamid® liquid polyamide resins and Phenoxy PK™ resins.
“Establishing an Application Development Laboratory is a key step toward implementing Gabriel’s strategy to expand our product offering in the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) and composites markets,” said Gabriel Performance Products’ Vice President of Technology Greg Hahn. “The lab allows Gabriel to support new product development and help drive the growth of the company.”
Gabriel renovated laboratory space in its Rock Hill manufacturing location. Much of the necessary testing equipment has been installed. Pete Schreiber, Ph.D., joined the Gabriel team as the Director of Applications. Additional technical resources and equipment will be added as needed to support development projects.
