PORT WASHINGTON, Wis.--Franklin Energy Services, LLC, a leading national energy efficiency program implementation firm, announced it will sponsor its annual Energy Efficiency Experts of Tomorrow scholarship program for 2017.
The scholarship program opens Nov. 16, 2016. Submission closes Feb. 1, 2017 or once 125 applications have been received.
“Each year, the Energy Efficiency Experts of Tomorrow scholarship program gains momentum and generates more interest,” said Paul Schueller, chief executive officer of Franklin Energy. “This is an exciting time in our growing industry. We expect a lot of talent and look forward to helping the awardees reach their professional aspiration. I’m excited for what is possible from the next generation.”
Applicants must currently be enrolled post-secondary juniors or seniors at any four-year university with a declared major in engineering or environmental science. Students can find full requirements and apply online. A maximum of four recipients, to each receive a $5,000 scholarship, will be selected by a non-biased third party panel. This is the third consecutive year for the scholarship program.
