DENVER, Pa.--It’s back and better than ever - Direct Wire & Cable has announced another year of supporting breast cancer research and reaching new levels of fundraising.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has shown excellent ratings from a transparency and financial aspect. In addition, 91 cents of every dollar raised goes directly towards breast cancer research efforts, which is why DWC will be donating 5% of its cable proceeds, and 100% of breast cancer awareness ‘swag’ proceeds to the organization. “That’s something to be proud of, knowing that an everyday purchase you make will go towards preventing breast cancer in the future,” says Direct Wire’s president, Eric Laubach.
Direct Wire has become known in the industry as selling pink Flex-A-Prene® welding cable to benefit breast cancer research, and is still one of the largest single fundraisers for the company. Breast cancer has affected many of Direct Wire’s employees and family members; this is one reason they feel it is important to do what they can to prevent this terrible disease from spreading. Every foot counts.
In addition to selling #2, 1/0 and 2/0 pink Flex-A-Prene® cable, Direct Wire will also offer Pink Extension cords in 25’, 50’ and 100’ lengths.
Non-cable sales to benefit breast cancer research will include Flex-a-Pink t-shirts, welding gear and phone accessories.
