PITTSBURGH--BoXZY has won the 2016 UPS X-PORT Challenge for the Mid-Atlantic region. The company was among ten finalists to showcase its products at the competition’s final Pitch-Off event and corresponding symposium in Philadelphia, PA last month. In winning the grand prize, BoXZY claimed $10,000 in international shipping services.
UPS executed multiple X-PORT Challenges across the country this year to help businesses tackle the requirements for international growth. Having entered the Mid-Atlantic competition, BoXZY was chosen from numerous applicants to formally discuss its product. The Pitch-Off included a presentation and Q&A with a panel of judges specializing in global commerce and afforded BoXZY the opportunity to share its story and its appeal to the global marketplace.
Following the product pitch, BoXZY participated in the Growing Your Business Globally symposium. There, the company was able to demonstrate its product with a tradeshow display and 60-second “elevator speech” video.
BoXZY has grown quickly, thanks to the versatility of its all-in-one CNC mill, laser engraver and 3D printer machine. With new products in development, the company aims to reach a global consumer base.
