HOUSTON--Ascend Performance Materials’ Specialty Chemicals Division will implement a price increase of $0.20/lb for all grades of amine products and mixtures, effective August 1, 2016.
Ascend’s amine product family includes FlexaTram™-BHM, FlexaTram-DAM, FlexaTram-DNP, FlexaTram-NNP and several formulated products. Amines are regularly used in agriculture, coatings, energy, water treatment and several other industries.
Ascend Performance Materials’ specialty chemicals business unit produces dozens of acids, amines, esters and nitriles used in a variety of end applications. Ascend’s integrated manufacturing process allows the company to produce a wide range of specialty chemicals, which are used in hundreds of brand-name adhesives, coatings, cleansers and detergents.
