FAIRFAX, Va.-- The Defense Security Services (DSS) has selected Logos Technologies LLC as one of 24 recipients of its James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award. Of more than 13,000 eligible companies, fewer than 1 percent were chosen by DSS to be honored.
"Adhering to the highest possible security standards across our programs is an absolute priority for Logos Technologies"
Presented at a ceremony held June 26, 2013, in Chicago, Ill., the Cogswell Award recognizes consistent superior security ratings and sustained excellence in security program management. The honor is one of the most coveted accolades given by the Department of Defense. It is bestowed upon only those companies that far exceed National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements and establish truly industry-leading practices.
"Adhering to the highest possible security standards across our programs is an absolute priority for Logos Technologies," said Dr. John Marion, executive vice president, Logos Technologies. "Our security training programs have seen 100 percent employee participation, ensuring that from the CEO down, every member of the Logos team is fully aware and respectful of their security responsibilities."
To be selected for the Cogswell Award, recipients must be nominated by a DSS Industrial Security representative. Nominees must have received a minimum of two consecutive superior security reviews that demonstrate a record of excellence in security program management, implementation and oversight.
