(Strongsville, Ohio) – Brighton-Best International is adding 70,000 square feet to its distribution center in this northeast Ohio town. The project will allow the vendor of socket screws and hex sets to carry deeper inventory and add about 25 new product lines.
“This company has been in business since 1925 and we just continue to grow,” said Steve Andrasik, national accounts manager for Brighton-Best. “This expansion is just overdue. We’ll fill a void in the market with some of the lines.”
Brighton-Best supplies a wide variety of industries, especially maintenance repair organizations and tool and die shops. The company has an existing 38,000-square-foot warehouse at the Strongsville site. Construction on the expansion project is underway and expected to be complete in December.
Andrasik said business is good across the board for the company and the Strongsville expansion project is just one of many. “We’re doing this all over the country,” he said. “The spike is coming down the road. These new product lines I’m talking about aren’t even in yet, they’re just starting to roll in. As these product lines come in and the inventory gets deeper sales will continue to grow.”
Brighton-Best is based in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The organization was purchased in January by Ta Chen International, which is based in Long Beach, California and operates in five countries.
