Formed in 1995, Orion will establish a 5,000-square-foot corporate headquarters on Magisterial Drive in Louisville. The facility will service existing locations in Tennessee and Ohio, which provide long-term care communities with pharmaceutical services. The company’s goal is to be more than just a vendor, but a true partner in patient care.
“We are thrilled about the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Louisville and the opportunity to join an existing group of leading healthcare companies focused on our country’s senior population,” said John Driscoll, CEO of OrionRx. “Louisville’s geographic location also fits our growing regional business model. We look forward to working with the local community and appreciate the welcome already extended to us. A special thanks for the help from GLI and the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Cabinet for Economic Development for all their assistance.”
To encourage the investment and job creation in Louisville, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved Orion Allied Services, doing business as OrionRx, for tax incentives up to $400,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.
