Avnet Memec and Microsemi Present Seminar Series in Americas on Power Management Design Techniques for High Availability Systems

PHOENIX--()--Today's telecom, data-com and storage systems are becoming increasingly complex. Avnet and Microsemi have created these seminars to teach design engineers to:

  • Gain a better understanding of power management techniques;
  • Manage a mix of up to 64 power rails and mixed analog and digital point-of-loads;
  • Add security to designs and reduce bill-of-material costs.
Beginning on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, these technical seminars will take place in San Jose, Calif., San Diego, Calif., Minneapolis, Minn. and Dallas, Texas through August. Using the Microsemi MPM 4.0 power management solutions as the centerpiece, these four-hour technical trainings highlight the MPM 4.0 graphical user interface that simplifies the visualization of the power sequencing and margining that occurs in complex, high availability systems. The sessions will also provide a hands-on lab using digital monitor power management (DMPM) development tools, including the Microsemi SmartFusion® Evaluation Kit.
