Advanced Optical Network Integration Company, NTSG, Inc. To Establish Staging and Warehousing Operation in Lexington
Move to create 10 new high-paying jobs, $1.4 million investment in the Commonwealth

FRANKFORT, Ky.  –NTSG, Inc., a provider of outsourced advanced optical network integration services to the communications industry, will open a new facility in Lexington.  The newly established operation will create 10 new full-time jobs with an average annual wage of $58,000 including benefits and result in a $1.4 million investment in the Commonwealth.

Established in 2001, NTSG’s client base includes companies such AT&T, Cisco, and Nokia Siemens Networks.  In addition to its headquarters functions, the Lexington location will consist of a warehousing and staging facility to store, build and stage equipment prior to installation and integration into client systems.  The site will also provide a laboratory and training center for field operations personnel.

“NTSG is very excited about expanding our operations to Lexington,” said Nancy Elberty, president of NTSG.  “The new facility will provide us with the space and resources to meet the ever growing demand for optical communications networks.  NTSG is looking forward to working with the schools and universities in the area to facilitate programs that will help to build the skill sets needed to support this industry.”

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved NTSG, Inc. for tax benefits up to $250,000 under Kentucky’s new incentive program, the Kentucky Business Investment (KBI) Program.  The incentive can be earned over a 10-year period through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments.

“NTSG’s decision to move to Lexington will create high-paying jobs for our citizens,” said President and CEO of Commerce Lexington, Bob Quick.  “Commerce Lexington has enjoyed working with NTSG and assisting them in the relocation process and is pleased to welcome the company to Lexington.”

The company provides outsourced advanced optical network integration services for carriers, equipment manufacturers, enterprise clients, and other service providers. NTSG’s skilled professionals can handle the most complex network implementation projects.
