DALLAS--Puration, Inc. (the “Company”), (OTC Pink: PURA) a Dallas-based water-purification products company, announced today that James A. Walgreen has joined the Company as a member of the Board of Advisors.
Mr. Walgreen is the great grandson of Walgreen Stores founder Charles Walgreen, gaining years of experience working in the family business, and accumulating the knowledge and skills to grow and manage very large companies. He is president of the retail division for More Media Direct, Inc., specializing in direct response marketing, media buying and product consulting.
Mr. Walgreen recently served as president of Cold Mountain Group, a highly-respected product and consulting corporation, creating strategic alliances between vendors and major accounts, and generating millions of dollars in sales revenue to companies such as Costco, QVC, Walgreens, Toys R Us, Amazon, Target and Fred Meyer.
Mr. Walgreen sits on the board of directors of Pacific Holdings, Inc., a multi-divisional corporation that provides a broad spectrum of health and wellness products and services to a wide variety of sectors. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member of other companies that distribute products to retail, hotels, commercial and design firm channels. He attended Tufts University.
