MicroRidge to Highlight MobileCollect Wireless Measurement Collection at IMTS 2012

MicroRidge Systems, Inc. will highlight its reliable, flexible and easy-to-use MobileCollect wireless measurement technology at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012 being held at Chicago’s McCormick Place September 10-15.  MicroRidge can be found in Booth #E-5552 which is located in the Quality Assurance, Pavilion, Lakeside Center(East) Building .

MobileCollect wireless collects measurements from handheld gages using “Mobile Modules” that attach securely to the gage or fixture and then sends those measurements wirelessly to a PC for quality control. Highly reliable, MobileCollect wireless is ideal in situations where there is heavy RF, significant machinery, robots or electrical noise.  It is often the only collection device that works unaffected all of the time.

“We have been listening to our customers for nearly three decades,” says Mary Chisholm, VP Operations & Marketing.  Using customer feedback, in combination with flexibility and technology advances, as our core business philosophy has resulted in the ability to provide our customers with  technology that reduces costs, increases production and achieves focused, real-time results.”

MicroRidge has designed MobileCollect around the latest wireless technology which results in affordability, reliability and data integrity making MobileCollect's ease of use, speed, versatility and range second to none. Users typically find that it significantly reduces ongoing cable costs and down time due to less frequent cable failure and replacement.  Implementing MobileCollect wireless is less costly than cabling in many applications with hand gages.

Known for flexibility, MobileCollect supports a broad range of gages, calipers and other instruments and is fully expandable and can be configured for the largest and the smallest applications.  Several transmitter and receiver options are offered to fit individual gaging and measurement collection requirements.
