Emerson Power Transmission, LP (Mason) ' the company offers services in areas of climate technologies, appliance solutions, motor technologies and industrial and automation storage. The proposed project consists of the establishment of a 135,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility for roller chain, cylindrical and spherical bearings as well as other power transmission components.

The company's estimated investment is $5,585,000. The maximum (jobs target to be created is 80 with maximum average hourly wage target of $24.00, including benefits. The project will consist of its two existing facilities and the new proposed site.

The company is to maintain a base employment of 395 employees at the two existing Mason County sites. The new full-time jobs at these three locations will be considered project employees. The local wage assessment participation is .79 percent. Kentucky officials approved a tax incentive in the amount of $1,500,000. The motion was carried unanimously.
