(Walton, Kentucky)PRNewswire/ - The Bowlin Group of Companies has acquired PowerPlus Electric Inc., an electrical construction services provider with offices in Pensacola, Florida and Tucson, Arizona.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
PowerPlus provides services to power and utility companies, as well as to developers of military family housing projects. Founded in 1997, the company is engaged in projects throughout the continental U.S. Johnny Griffin, an original founding partner of PowerPlus Electric, will remain as President of PowerPlus.
“PowerPlus brings a significant staff of talented resources and a robust customer base to our existing portfolio,” said Blevins Bowlin, Chairman of the Bowlin Group of Companies. “We expect that the combined companies will enjoy substantial resource deployment and cross selling opportunities in the fast growing energy services sector."
The Bowlin Group LLC is privately owned and is based in Walton, Kentucky. In addition to PowerPlus, the Bowlin Group owns Bowlin Energy LLC, Bowlin Communications LLC, and Bowlin Services LLC. The Bowlin Group serves a diverse customer base which includes E.ON U.S., Cincinnati Bell, Time Warner Cable, Owen County Rural Electric Cooperative and Verizon Wireless among others.
