Gatormade Trailers, Pyramid Machine Services and Bondtech are in the process of moving into the former Ashai auto wheel plant just outside of town.
Currently, the three companies employ about 100.
The 320,000-square-foot facility will more than quadruple the size of the building the three share now in Somerset, according to B.J. Brown, who owns Gatormade and Pyramid. His wife, Elsa, owns Bondtech.
B.J. said more than a half million dollars was invested in renovations and the companies will occupy three-quarters of the facility to start. The Brown's have already begun moving operations to the new site and hope to finish relocating within 90 days.
They acquired the building in 2008.
In addition to recovering from a fire, the company moved to a bigger location to help it grow sales.
“We're working harder,” B.J. said.
Gatormade manufactures utility trailers for industrial hauling and Pyramid Machine provides machining and engineering servies, primarily to the Japanese auto industry.
BONDTECH designs, engineers and manufactures autoclaves systems, with material handling, for technical industries such as infectious medical waste treatment, aerospace composites, glass lamination, rubber vulcanizing, wood treating, yarn setting and many other applications
